WWII Veterans Honor Flight

The father of one of our members, Joe Payton, is a WWII veteran and was part of this group of WWII vets who were flown on an "Honor Flight" to Washington, DC, to take part in a ceremony honoring our veterans from that war.  The Silver Statesmen were asked to sing a few songs to the assembled crowd, which was held at the Harley Davidson Center on Rainbow Blvd.  Here are a few pics from that event and a short video.  We enjoy each and every opportunity to share our music with the community.

The crowd was very "fluid" and it was hard to tear them away from the pancake breakfast (ha!).  But even with all the distractions, our 30 minutes of great barbershop music was a hit!!
