ANNUAL CHORUS AWARD WINNERS
Barbershop singing in Las Vegas has been around since the first chapter was formed in 1960, with the Gambleaires chorus. In 1998, a second chapter was chartered as the City of Lights chorus. Both of these choruses merged together in 2013 to become the present-day Silver Statesmen Barbershop Chorus.
Each year, in January, an Installation & Awards ceremony is held to install the new board of directors for the chapter and to name the recipients of the highest awards given to barbershoppers at the local level.
We would like to recognize those who have been past winners from the three choruses. Records of this information are still being looked for, so if anyone knows the recipient for any of the awards missing the name, please let us know.
